This article goes behind the ethos of today’s Islam and
Terrorism. Should the Muslim’s today who are not involved in terrorist attacks,
could be blamed for the terrorism caused by Muslims who do carry out the
terrorist attacks? If they do, then how can they be blamed and how much or how
little can they be blamed for? This matter will be discussed using pure Islamic
point of view.
Briefly speaking today’s Islam and Terrorism has the
following in common; however later in this article we will put forward the true
Islamic view regarding this matter;
a)
Both
follow Hadith
b)
Both follow the same proclamation of Islam (the
first pillar)
c)
Both read Salat from Hadith
d)
Both revere Muhammad sometimes more than God
e)
Both follow Sharia law
f)
Both celebrate Eid
g)
Both grave worship at Muhammad’s tomb during Hajj
(Muslim pilgrimage)
h)
Both believe that Muhammad can hear and help them
even though he is dead
We know from Quran (5:48) that Muhammad told his followers
to follow the Quran;
[5:48] Then we revealed to you this scripture, truthfully,
confirming previous scriptures, and superseding them. You shall rule among them
in accordance with GOD's revelations, and do not follow their wishes if they
differ from the truth that came to you. For each of you, we have decreed laws
and different rites. Had GOD willed, He could have made you one congregation.
But He thus puts you to the test through the revelations He has given each of
you. You shall compete in righteousness. To GOD is your final destiny - all of
you - then He will inform you of everything you had disputed.
So Islam and Terrorism will be discussed in the light of
the Quran following Muhammad’s footsteps as mentioned in (5:48);
So what does Quran say about Hadith, please read the
following verses from the Quran to make your mind up;
[7:185] Have
they not looked at the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all the things
GOD has created? Does it ever occur to them that the end of their life may be
near? Which Hadith, beside this, do
they believe in?
[12:111] In their history, there is a lesson for those who
possess intelligence. This is not
fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides
the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.
[31:6] Among
the people, there are those who uphold
baseless Hadith, and thus divert others from the path of GOD without
knowledge, and take it in vain. These have incurred a shameful retribution.
The Best Hadith
[39:23] GOD has
revealed herein
the best Hadith; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways
(to Heaven and Hell). The skins of those who reverence their Lord cringe
therefrom, then their skins and their hearts soften up for GOD's message. Such
is GOD's guidance; He bestows it upon whoever wills (to be guided). As for those
sent astray by GOD, nothing can guide them.
Which Hadith?
[45:6] These
are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully.
In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe?
[52:34]
Let them produce a Hadith like this, if
they are truthful.
[68:44]
Therefore, let Me deal with those who
reject this Hadith; we will lead them on whence they never perceive.
[77:50]
Which Hadith, other than this, do they
uphold?
In Arabic Hadith means narration, while there are other
words to describe narration, Kitaab or book, or Rasaala or narration, Quran
specifically talks about Hadith and it is not a coincidence that after 1400
years since the revelation of the Quran, there is this so called Islamic book
called Hadith. This shows the Omniscience of God; He knew what will happen in
the future, that there will be books called Hadith, and that the true Muslims
should avoid these books!
Indeed the message is clear follow the Quran and Not
Hadith, else trouble lies ahead of you; this trouble is already taking place in
Muslim countries. Look at most of the Muslim countries the poverty, injustice,
bribery, disobedience of human rights are in strive and will continue until
people of each country abide by the Quran.
Quran encourages human rights, it promotes gentle and kind
religion, while Hadith on the other hand promote viscous laws against women and
children, blaspheme against God and Muhammad by associating horrible incitements
based on so called the attributes of Muhammad and what he said, using Hadith.
According to the Quran the proclamation is as follows;
The First Commandment
[37:35] When
they were told, "Laa Elaaha Ella Allah
[There is no other god beside GOD]," they turned arrogant.
According to today’s Muslims it is;
“There is no god besides God and Muhammad is His messenger”
There is no mention of the proclamation recited by today’s
Muslims or the Terrorists in the Quran.
There are two accounts why mentioning Muhammad’s name in
the proclamation is wrong;
First we are told in the Quran that all prophets including
Muhammad should be equally respected;
No Distinction Among God's Messengers
[2:136] Say,
"We believe in GOD, and in what was sent down to us, and in what was sent down
to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to
Moses and Jesus, and all the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction
among any of them. To Him alone we are submitters."
By adding his name in the proclamation today’s Muslims are
giving Muhammad more respect than the other prophets.
Second today’s Muslims say that Muhammad was the final
messenger hence they put his name in the proclamation. Therefore according to
them, it makes sense that his name should
be mentioned in the proclamation;
However, the Quran tells us that Muhammad was not the final
messenger;
Not The Final Messenger
[33:40] Muhammad was not the father of any man among you.
He was a messenger of GOD and the final prophet. GOD is fully aware of all
things.
We have confirmed two accounts, where mentioning Muhammad’s
name in the proclamation is blasphemous. It is up to the reader if he/she wants
to continue with the wrong proclamation, indeed idol worship is a great sin, and
this act is of idol worship!!
Salat should only mention God, not prophets as Hadith
proclaim;
[72:18] The places of worship belong to GOD; do not call on
anyone else besides GOD.
On Friday prayers the whole sermon is attributed to
Muhammad, this is idol worship to nth degree and should be stopped.
Sharia law brings sectarianism and fundamentally it is
harsh law, particularly against women and children. Indeed Quran is kind to
women; there is a whole chapter in the Quran, chapter 4 called
Al-Nesaa’ Women. This chapter is addressing women rights which are
gentle and kind in favour of women and orphans. Today’s Muslims would say that
the Sharia law of Terrorists is not what they believe in, because they have
their own Sharia laws. This is precisely what is wrong, as soon as humans take
responsibility beside the Word of God the Quran to make their own decisions
regarding what is right and what is wrong in Islam, this happens. There are
contradictions between two or more Sharia laws, but none of them preach exactly
what the Quran says. Indeed one source of information is much better than many
sources of information which brings conflicts and miss-understandings among
Muslims. And that source should be the Quran the Word of God.
Indeed any religious activity which is not mentioned in the
Quran is addition to the Word of God the Quran. Since Eid celebration is not
mentioned in the Quran, those who celebrate Eid are adding words to the words of
the Quran and very subtly idolising Muhammad by following the man made ideology
of Muhammad and disregarding what Muhammad wanted i.e. follow the Quran.
I have heard today’s Muslims saying if you don’t visit
Muhammad’s tomb during Hajj your pilgrimage will not be accepted. May I remind
those people that Hajj and all the religious rites were introduced by Abraham
and at that time there was no mention of Muhammad, let alone the presence of his
grave! The only place where the Hajj took
place was Mecca and the surrounding areas;
Abraham Delivered All the Practices of Submission (Islam)
[2:127] As
Abraham raised the foundations of the shrine, together with Ismail (they
prayed): "Our Lord, accept this from us. You are the Hearer, the Omniscient.
[2:128] "Our
Lord, make us submitters to You, and from our descendants let there be a
community of submitters to You. Teach us
the rites of our religion, and redeem us. You are the Redeemer, Most
Merciful.
Muhammad is dead and he cannot help or hear us;
[3:144]
Muhammad was no more than a messenger like the messengers before him. Should he
die or get killed, would you turn back on your heels? Anyone who turns back on
his heels, does not hurt GOD in the least. GOD rewards those who are
appreciative.
[39:30] You
(Muhammad) will surely die, just like they will die.
It is a myth what today’s Muslims say that prophets and in
particular Muhammad are spiritually alive and can help us on earth. This is no
different from Christians who believe Jesus spirit is alive and can help them.
So Muslims be aware of what you do or say!!!!
We have seen similarities between the beliefs of today’s
Muslims and the terrorists. Later we discussed these similarities in the light
of the Quran pertinent to what Muhammad preached when he was alive.
We find out from our discussion that what both today’s
Muslims and Terrorists believe are not relevant beliefs according to what
Muhammad preached when he was alive which is to follow the Quran.
So now we come to the crunch question, how come today’s
Muslims can be blamed for the terrorist’s attacks?
At work if one of your colleagues does something wrong and
he or she is working within your team, would you not feel responsible for that
person. Similarly todays Muslims and the Terrorists follow the same so called
Islamic system, which makes them one of the team!!! And in some ways todays
Muslims who have not participated in terrorist attacks are responsible to
certain degree for the actions of those terrorists.
If today’s Muslims do not want to be associated with the
Terrorists they should denounce their beliefs and follow the Quran based on the
facts mentioned above!!!!
